Barko Hydraulics, LLC, a 10-year TCIA corporate member company based in Superior, Wisconsin, welcomed Justin Rupar as its new president in June 2021. Rupar brings with him more than 27 years of equipment-industry expertise in manufacturing, dealer development, sales and marketing.
“The Barko team and I are excited to continue working to improve our product and services offerings, and to add exceptional value to both our dealer partners’ and our retail customers’ operations,” says Rupar.
Barko, part of the Industrial Technologies Group (ITG) of The Heico Companies, is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of heavy equipment for the forestry, site-prep and material-
handling industries. Barko’s line of forestry equipment includes harvesters, feller bunchers, processors, loaders, grapples and industrial, wheeled tractors. As president, Rupar will be looking to position Barko at the forefront of the forestry-equipment market.
Before joining Barko, Rupar held leadership positions with Yamaha Motor Corporation, Yanmar America and ASV Holdings, overseeing global commercial, distribution and after-sales support activities. A native of northern Minnesota, he holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Georgia.
