This November, Husqvarna debuted two 90cc chain saws new to North America, the Husqvarna 585 and Husqvarna 592 XP, both designed for tree care professionals. The 592 XP features Husqvarna’s AutoTune 3.0, designed to keep engine settings optimized for easy starts and maximum performance, combined with efficient air filtration to keep the saw going in all conditions. It is equipped with the X-Tough or X-Tough Light bar, in lengths from 20 to 36 inches, and razor-sharp C85 or C83 X-Cut chain. Independent testing shows that, with Husqvarna’s X-Torq engine and the X-Cut chain, the 592 XP delivers best-in-class cutting capacity and power-to-weight ratio. An optimized center of gravity and the X-Tough Light bar together are designed to provide optimal balance and easy maneuvering. Additional features include Husqvarna Air Injection, designed to filter 98% of dust, a lightweight muffler, visible fuel level, flip-up tank caps and heated handles (592 XP G only). The Husqvarna 585 has many of the same features and is designed to be a robust and durable saw that’s easy to maneuver and maintain. With an easy-to-adjust carburetor and heavy-duty air filtration, the 585 is designed as a durable workhorse characterized by an excellent mix of traditional technology – with needle carburetor and a user-centric design – for modern performance. The 585 delivers cutting capacity 17% higher than the Husqvarna 390 XP and improved vibration levels, and is designed to run efficiently with various fuel qualities.
