The new Breatheflex Pro Legacy chain-saw pants from Arbortec, a UK-based manufacturer of chain-saw protective apparel, are built for strength, durability and comfort for the arborist and forestry markets with safety and protection guaranteed. Accentuating the company’s record of blending creative designs with fine materials, the denim look of the Pro Legacy pants is created from a mix of Cordura, cotton and Lycra used in the shell fabric. This also is designed to boost durability and flexibility, which are further enhanced by crotch material of a Kevlar-based, mechanical-stretch fabric with spandex. The chain-saw protection (Class 1 (20m/s) EN 381-5 Type A) is made of six layers of Arbortec’s Trio-Strand Gridlock Lite material, which the company touts as “one of the best lightweight and breathable blocking materials in the industry.” The shin-protection area is crafted with Aramid-based fabric polyamide to add an extra layer of user protection.
