Corteva Agriscience’s new TerraVue herbicide has been registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for use on roadsides, utility rights of way, natural areas and wildlife-management areas, including grazed areas in and around these sites. TerraVue features a water-dispersible granule formulation powered by Rinskor active, a new active ingredient in the vegetation-management market designed to deliver superior weed and brush control with tolerance to grasses, forbs, shrubs and other desirable plants. The selectivity of TerraVue to desirable species helps create a natural barrier against incompatible or invasive species. By protecting and encouraging the growth of compatible plant species, vegetation managers using TerraVue can reduce long-term maintenance costs while improving plant biodiversity and habitats for a variety of wildlife and pollinator species. Features and benefits include control of more than 140 broadleaf weed and woody-plant species, low use rate (2-2.85 oz/acre controls most weeds), favorable environmental profile, low-odor formulation, application flexibility across use sites and season-long residual control. TerraVue is a dry formulation available in 1.1-pound (case of six) or 4.4-pound (case of four) containers.
