Arboristry Associates Joins Davey Tree

The Davey Tree Expert Company, a 39-year TCIA member company based in Kent, Ohio, in November 2022, bought Arboristry Associates, a 28-year TCIA member company based in Faber, Virginia. Arboristry started in 1993 and provides residential and commercial tree and plant health care in the greater Charlottesville, Virginia, region. Arboristry’s 12 employees plan to continue work with Davey. “Joining Davey will provide a huge benefit to our clients and team members,” says Mike Neal, founder and owner of Arboristry. “The Arboristry our clients are familiar with will be gaining new Davey team members from across the continent to exchange knowledge and experience, which will ultimately benefit our clients’ properties.” Phil Snyder, vice president, Northeast operations, Residential/Commercial (R/C) services at Davey, says, “I’m looking forward to growing our support in Virginia and providing Arboristy’s clients with Davey’s many benefits. The Arboristry team will now have access to Davey’s leading diagnostic laboratory, the Davey Institute, which will provide scientific support to the Arboristry team and clients’ needs.”
