SavATree in February purchased Ping’s Tree Service, an accredited, 23-year TCIA member company based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This marked SavATree’s 40th branch office and second Indiana location.
Founded by Phil Ping in 1973, Ping’s Tree Service is the largest privately owned and operated tree care service company in central Indiana.
In December 2019, SavATree purchased Vine & Branch, another local tree care company. Consequently, Ping’s and Vine & Branch are combining teams, fleets and offices under the SavATree canopy.
Phil Ping’s daughter, Lisa Daugherty, will lead the newly combined teams, and comments, “I am excited to partner with SavATree to enhance the legacy my father built over the past 47 years by providing even more services and taking the company to the next level.”
In March, SavATree purchased Arbor Experts of Dayton, Ohio, marking SavATree’s entry into the Ohio market.
Arbor Experts, an accredited, 12-year TCIA member company, was founded by Paul and Karen Burns. Paul, along with his arborists and crew, will stay on with SavATree.
