A tree worker was bitten by a bat September 9, 2025, in Licking County, Ohio. The worker was pruning a large ash tree and did not see the bat, but did feel an unusual pain in his hand. He later removed his glove and saw two small puncture wounds. The emergency-room doctor said it was a classic bat bite, according to the worker, as told to TCIA staff.
