A man was killed when he was struck by a tree he was helping remove June 30, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Danny Lane, 74, of Columbus, was helping a neighbor cut down a tree when he became trapped under the felled tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a 10 WBNS report.
