The ultimate tree care duo has finally arrived. As part of a new partnership, Branch Manager Attachments, a leader in tree care service equipment, will provide attachments for Toro’s powerful Dingo lineup of compact utility loaders. For tree care service providers, this combination means improved efficiency and productivity on tree care job sites.

Branch Manager attachments are developed specifically for tree care site needs. From tree removal and maintenance to job-site cleanup, Branch Manager attachments are designed to improve efficiency, reduce labor and simplify complex tasks. The new partnership will give tree care providers a one-stop shop for traction unit and attachment needs, including ordering, financing, shipment and customer care.

Dingo compact utility loaders are a productivity-boosting alternative to manual labor and heavier earth-moving equipment, especially in tight areas. Whether crews want specific attachments, gas, diesel or electric-power, radial, vertical or telescoping lift arms, wheels or tracks, there’s a Dingo for almost any job demand.

Like Branch Manager, Toro understands the importance of helping crews boost productivity and efficiency – and the Dingo lineup does just that.

All-in-one
The Dingo’s versatility makes it a “Swiss Army Knife” for landscapers, arborists and construction crews. Dingos can be outfitted with up to 35 attachments, including several built specifically to handle tree care jobs.

The Branch Manager attachments designed for use with Toro’s Dingo machines, include:

  • 56-inch T1031 BMGX2 Mini Skid Steer Log Grapple
This lightweight, 265-pound, fully assembled grapple easily attaches to the Toro Dingo, offering a large 56-inch opening, a swivel mount with “knock around” rotation for reduced maintenance and log dogs that provide intuitive log handling, all while its free rotation design minimizes wear on both lawns and machines.
  • 56-inch T1036 BMGXR2 Mini Skid Steer Log Grapple
This fully assembled, 350-pound grapple mounts onto the Toro Dingo, offering a large 56-inch opening and powered rotation to minimize wear and tear on both the machine and customers’ lawns.
  • BMG Clamshells Grapple Attachment
This 30.5-inch-wide, 120-pound grapple easily attaches to a Dingo to scoop and grab loose materials like stump chips, dirt, rocks and more, with a 10.5-cubic-feet capacity and durable powder-coat paint for long-lasting performance.
  • BMG Rake
This 130-pound, 6-foot rake fits the Branch Manager Grapple, featuring over 1,700 virtually indestructible spring-steel tines for efficiently sweeping up stump chips, pine needles and more, with easy storage and no need to disconnect hydraulic hoses for use.

Application
From removing or restoring trees and other landscaping to the collection and removal of demolition debris, the grapple-rake attachment operates much like a bucket when used with a compact utility loader. Operators can raise and lower it, as well as back-rake material away from buildings and fence lines.

When planting, the auger attachment excels at creating plumb holes on uneven or sloped ground. Recommended for bits up to 30 inches, the swivel auger’s power head swivels in all directions so the operator can create even holes no matter the terrain. For more demanding applications, the high-torque auger attachment is built for 30-inch bits and digs deep where lower-torque heads may get stuck.

Carry fence posts, rocks, pallets, plants, fertilizer, irrigation supplies and more with the adjustable forks attachment. The forks are constructed of high-strength steel and can be manually adjusted with ease to the desired width.

Incredible hydraulic power (up to 12 gpm at 3,000 psi) allows the stump grinder to make wood shavings of the toughest stumps, grinding them down as far as 16.5 inches below grade. Operators will also enjoy a direct line of sight to the cutting blade for increased accuracy and efficiency.

The hydraulic tree-fork attachment makes planting trees or large shrubs quick and effortless. A hydraulic cylinder allows one of the forks to pivot, creating a clamping action for picking up and moving objects. The hydraulic arm is powerful enough to move a variety of trees, and, combined with the Dingo’s compact build and maneuverability, operators can position trees or shrubs with precision.

Reduced workload
When paired with these and the Toro Dingo’s other attachments, tree care providers will enjoy a significantly reduced physical workload and less fatigue. For example, crews could use a combination of Dingo and Branch Manager attachments to remove a dead or dying tree, grind the stump, clear and dump debris, auger a hole and plant a new tree with minimal hand labor.

Previously, that same crew may have used shovels, wheelbarrows and other tools that draw out the process and lead to long days and, ultimately, a turnover rate of skilled labor.

Pick your power
Dingos are offered in gas-, diesel- and electric-powered models to help meet the unique needs of the many locations where tree care service is needed. For urban environments with noise restrictions, the eDingo 500 offers quiet operation, exceptional runtime and all-day power courtesy of Toro’s own HyperCell Power System. Tree care contractors still enjoy all the benefits and power of a standard compact utility loader with no fuel costs and zero exhaust emissions.

Operator friendly
The Dingo lineups give crews a range of solutions depending on their needs. On each Dingo, patented traction controls and intuitive design allow new and experienced operators to get the job done. When operating in tight spaces, the narrow track models allow for effortless maneuverability and can fit through a 36-inch (standard sized) gate. Models with radial-lift arms make it easy to tackle ground tasks while vertical-lift arms can take on jobs that require higher clearance to dispose of debris.

A strong tree team
Toro and Branch Manager have spent decades helping crews care for and craft greenspaces through cutting-edge equipment that makes their jobs easier. With efficiency and productivity top of mind, they’ve come up with another way to help tree care crews make easy work out of tough jobs.
