A man was killed in a wood-cutting accident February 22, 2023, in Wrangell, Alaska. Randy Churchill Jr., 39, of Wrangell, was pinned under a cut tree. He was transported to a medical center, where he died of his injuries, according to a KSTK Public Radio report.
