A man was injured March 20, 2023, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, when he was struck in the head by a tree he was cutting when it “kicked out.” The 18-year-old victim was part of a tree-removal crew from Punxsutawney, Pa. He was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment, according to a WTAE news report.  This incident was reported as a logging accident.
