Custom Truck Load King Lightning PTO

The Load King Lightning PTO from Custom Truck One Source is an electric-powered take-off system designed to operate hydraulic equipment without engaging the vehicle’s engine, making it an attractive option for forestry applications. Compatible with booms up to 60 feet, the system offers battery capacities of 5, 7, 10 and 14 kWh, with the 10 kWh model utilizing two 48VDC 5 kWh batteries. It is designed to deliver a maximum hydraulic output pressure of 3,000 PSI (pounds per square inch) and a flow rate up to 14 GPM (gallons per minute). The Lightning PTO can be fully engaged and controlled from the aerial platform, allowing seamless switching between it and the conventional PTO. Charging options include a standard 110AC outlet with a full-charge time of five hours and an in-transit charging feature that achieves a 1% charge for every five minutes of driving. The system is compatible with major equipment brands and includes standard telematics, with a three-year subscription for monitoring fuel savings, CO2-emissions reduction and maintenance savings.
