Terex Utilities partnered with SDP Manufacturing Inc. to offer the TL45 Tracked Carrier, featuring Terex’s TL45 articulated telescopic aerial device with a jib on SDP Manufacturing’s rubber-tracked chassis. The chassis has a hydraulic track drive that extends from 31.1 inches to 55 inches wide, designed for working on sensitive terrain, such as backyards and sidewalks, or for accessing tight spaces. Featuring a 900-pound-capacity jib, the TL45 Tracked Carrier is a flexible option for utilities and utility contractors working in difficult-to-access areas. This personnel and material-handling unit is insulated (46 kV Category C) and has a 47-foot working height. Other features include full continuous rotation, unlimited work zone and corded remote-drive and outrigger controls.
