A woman was killed when a tree she was cutting fell on her May 23, 2023, in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. Marie Covey, 50, of Stratton, Vermont, was using a chain saw when the incident occurred. Emergency personnel attempted life-saving efforts, but Covey was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a WMUR report.
