Updated Kask Superplasma HD helmet
Kask’s updated Superplasma HD helmet is designed to meet a range of safety standards and offer advanced comfort features. A key upgrade is the new ANSI Z89.1-2014 HT LT Certification, ensuring the helmet meets both high- and low-temperature requirements, with a wearable range of -22 F to 140 F. The new buckle features a green color-coded design, indicating compliance with the EN 12492 standard. The helmet features new black aesthetic details, including headlamp clips, headband, padding, slot caps with debossed lettering and an anti-intrusion mesh, all unified in a sleek black finish. The external shell is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) that guarantees impact resistance, high penetration protection and resistance to color degradation. The internal shell is made of Neopor Ccycled by BASF, a high-
density polystyrene foam obtained from chemical recycling of plastic waste with a reduced carbon footprint, ensuring all-around impact absorption. The removable inner padding, in quick-drying fabric with moisture-wicking technology, ensures breathability with 10 air intakes. A longer chinstrap offers three adjustment points, designed to accommodate larger head sizes (size from
51 to 62 cm) and ensure stability. (kask.com)
