Bandit’s new SG-75 stump grinder is designed to have the power and speed to quickly eliminate stumps. With its 74-horsepower Kohler diesel engine, power is transferred through a gearbox drive system to a choice of 27-inch-diameter grinding wheels. The expandable/retractable, rubber-track undercarriage allows access through a 36-inch gate and then can expand to a 55-inch-wide base, providing stability for working on slopes and uneven terrain. An industry-leading 80-inch swing and 2-foot cutting depth reduce the need to reposition. The SG-75’s wide wingspan provides a 54-cubic-foot chip-collection chamber for chip containment. Bandit’s “Super Sweep” feature is designed to efficiently move the wheel through the stump without overloading the engine and drive train, maximizing production. The remote, designed to be user friendly, allows the operator to set swing speed, drop distance and tracking speed. It also allows the operator to have a good vantage point for grinding the stump while maintaining a safe distance. An optional grading blade is available for cleaning up after the grind.
