Bartlett Expands Presence in Oregon
January 13, 2021 – Stamford, Conn. – Bartlett Tree Experts is pleased to announce it has acquired Oregon-based tree care company Overlook Tree Preservation. This marks Bartlett’s second acquisition in the state in as many months, following the acquisition of Buena Vista Arbor Care in Corvallis, Oregon in December.
Overlook Tree Preservation has been providing high-quality tree care to clients throughout Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties since 2003. The company’s owner, Kevin MacKenzie, has returned to Bartlett Tree Experts, where he worked earlier in his career, as an Arborist Representative in the Clackamas office. Overlook staff members have also joined Bartlett, effective January 10.
“My personal experience working with Bartlett has been that they generously support our industry, are very safety-conscious, and perhaps most importantly, share our philosophy that integrity is fundamental in every transaction and at all levels of their business,” MacKenzie said.

The acquisition of Overlook Tree Preservation adds depth to Bartlett’s thriving operations in the Portland market area, said Kevin Carr, District Manager of Bartlett’s Pacific Northwest District. “Kevin’s customers love him. I am excited to see him rejoin the Bartlett team.”
