Prinoth Group buys Jarraff Industries

Prinoth Group, part of the HTI (High Technology Industries) Group and a manufacturer of snow groomers, tracked vehicles and vegetation-management vehicles and equipment, bought Jarraff Industries, Inc., in October 2021.

Jarraff, a 21-year TCIA corporate member company based in St. Peter, Minnesota, manufactures highly specialized trimming equipment for right-of-way maintenance, land clearing and tree care equipment, including its All-Terrain Tree Trimmer, Mini-Jarraff Urban Tree Trimmer and LineBacker Brush Cutter. This equipment should complement Prinoth’s existing products, such as hydraulic mulcher heads, the Raptor line of mulcher carriers and the Panther line of crawler carriers.

“I am very proud of the legacy we have established and nurtured over the past 42 years,” says Heidi Boyum, president of Jarraff. “As a family-run and -owned business, I view (this) transaction as an opportunity to ensure that the business, customers, employees and community we are in continue growing while joining an even larger family.”

Boyum will continue to work as a strategic advisor to Jarraff and Prinoth.

“This acquisition confirms Prinoth’s commitment to invest in and grow its presence in the specialized off-road equipment business, better positioning it in the high-demand utilities right-of-way and maintenance segment,” says Klaus Tonhäuser, president of the Prinoth Group, which is headquartered in Italy. “Jarraff’s specialized product portfolio and strong presence in these critical market segments will provide our customers access to industry-leading products backed by our brand, distribution and manufacturing experience.”

Jarraff COO Steve VanRoekel will remain in that position and will count on the existing, experienced management team to continue managing their operations.
